Summer Cup
(tournament between NWSL and Liga MX Femenil)
The Summer Cup is a World Cup-style tournament that consists of all fourteen (14) NWSL clubs and the six (6) teams with the most points in Liga MX Femenil Clausura and Apertura tournaments. The Clausura and Apertura tournaments is a split season format between Spanish-speaking female soccer clubs in Mexico, Central America, and South America.
The Summer Cup is typically played from mid-July to mid-August, and began in 2024. For more information about the Summer Cup, go to the Summer Cup page on the NWSL official website.
